Patty Melts

Difficulty: Easy

Patty Melt Sandwiches

lean ground beef patties, pan cooked
topped with sauteed onions
provolone cheese
piled onto griddle-toasted wheat bread

Served with side salad, carrot sticks and potato chips.

I'm still on a mission to use up food in the freezer & not make a commissary trip until sometime next week, maybe even later.

Leftover potential: I'm making just enough for tonight. Extra meat & onions can make sandwiches for another meal, be frozen for soup, be used as pizza toppings, make a breakfast burrito & be tossed into spaghetti.
